Richard Akuoko Adiyia

Hon. Richard Akuoko Adiyia is a consummate Finance and International Development Executive.

Having worked with the United Nations for over a decade across continents, he has diverse global business experience and a humble team lead. He is a proven team builder with a proven track record of strengthening organizational competencies alternating from board level environment to front-line team members to customers and partners.

Hon. Adiyia has worked as Chief Finance Officer (CFO) at United Nations Observers Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG). He was Chief, Budget and Finance of the United Nations office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Geneva, Switzerland as well as the Finance Officer, United Nations Office for the Cordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), New York, USA.

As a former Member of Parliament for the Ahafo-Ano North Constituency, Hon. Adiyia represented the interests and concerns of the people of Ahafo-Ano as well as influencing policies and programmes of the Government of Ghana especially in areas of Agriculture, Finance, Education, Health and general infrastructure.

Until his appointment as CEO of PBC Limited, Hon. Adiyia was the Financial Controller of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited and is credited as being part of a team that has transformed the state owned Distilleries Company.

He is a product of Opoku Ware School, Kumasi, Yale School of Management, New Haven, CT USA and Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. USA.

His leadership philosophy is influenced by the quote “if leadership has a secret source, it may well be humility”.

Hon. Adiyia is married with children.
